A shoe investment that's a shoo-in
We've all heard the shoe sound of death right? You know the one I'm talking about. The one that makes you sound like a horse walking down the hall of any hard surface: "clip. clop. clip. clop. clip. clop." Yeah, that one. So embarrassing. It basically screams "these shoes are so old and need to be thrown away, but I'm wearing them anyway."
But wait. No! Don't throw those shoes away. Instead, take them to your local shoe hospital, have heel taps put on them, ask for a shine and they will come back to you looking brand new—all for the low price of approximately $10 a pair. I recently took shoe inventory of my closet to assess the heel tap situation and embarrassingly enough, I had three pair that needed new taps on them. I decided it was time to do something about this, so I took all three to the shoe repair shop, and a couple of days later, it was like I had three new pairs of shoes, for less than $30. And that's what I call a shoe investment that's a shoo-in.
